TAS is affiliated to the Council for British Archaeology(CBA) and a member of the Council for Independent Archaeology and the Greater Manchester Archaeological Federation. Our slogan has always been 'Caring for your Heritage' - the resources from this site are to do with groups and individuals who also care for the heritage of Tameside and perhaps none more than all of those individuals and organisations who have realised an 'impossible dream' by reopening the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. |
